37 is Weird

I turned 37 today. I also tried to swim on my way in to work, like every other day. So there I was, walking through the locker room, getting changed, thinking about how I had to be out of the water by 7:50, to make it home by 8:00 for a meeting with a landscaper, then how i had to leave that meeting by 8:20 to get into work for a 9:00 meeting.

And all of a sudden, I'm standing on the pool deck, and one of the ladies in the pool is staring at me with a strange look on her face. This is when I realize I'm absolutely stark naked, my swimsuit is in my mouth while I fiddle with my goggles and towel.

I think the best part was for some reason, instead of turning to run back into the locker room? my reaction was to hold my hand out to the lady, like 'Stop looking at me!'.

So far, I can report: 37 is weird. Looking forward to it.
